After coming off a harsh winter, our crop was significantly reduced in Niagara. Although there was less fruit, what was left over was extra concentrated. This rose was made using the saingee method, of pulling off fermenting juice from a red fermenter, only hours after inoculation. This allows a lighter colour than red wine, but still derives plenty of characteristics from the red grapes.
Winemaker's Pairing Suggestion: Would be excellent with turkey dinner, beet salad or on its own!
