2023 Classe Cru

Description:

This 100% Cabernet Franc wine was hand picked from the Niagara College Teaching Vineyard by the Class of 2024. These students selected, vinified, barreled and bottled this wine by hand, all with the support of our professors and winemakers.  It is a testament to hands on learning and the quality of education and wine here at Niagara College.

Tasting Notes:

Dark ruby colour.  Blue berry and black raspberry in the nose, with a hint of toasted oak. The palate has more red fruits with some subtle meatier tones.  The finish is fresh with balanced tannins.

Pairing Suggestions:

Pepperoni pizza, flank steak, or portobello mushroom burgers
