2022 Dean's List Cabernet Franc

Description/Winemakers Notes

The first crop of Cabernet Franc from our Taylor Road Vineyard was grown in perfect conditions and although a smaller yield, it offered amazing ripeness. This wine was fermented on skins for two weeks and aged in large-format oak foudres for eight months before being transferred to smaller oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Beautiful bright ruby colour, dark fresh fruit, and well-integrated oak on the nose. The palate offers freshness and juiciness, complemented by elegant tannins and a medium finish.

Pairing Suggestions

Skirt steak and chimichurri, or grilled peppers.
